It is believed that the Tarot comes from the Former Egypt but to certain science it is known that it is not up to the 13th century when there is had authentic information of its existence, concretly in Italy. There have been many decks but one of most known and which has used as reference to many others is the Tarot of Marseilles. Pioneers there have been many from Court de Gebelin, Etteilla, Eliphas Levi; already more modern Pierre Christian, Ely Star, Papus, Stanislas de Guaita, Oswald Wirth, Aleister Crowley, Arthur Edward Waite, etc.
There is a narrow enough relation between the Tarot and the Cabala, the 22 major arcane ones and 22 paths of the creation or 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
The Tarot consists of 22 major arcane ones and 56 minor arcane, in whole 78 cards. Certainly the most important they are major arcane and those who have a descriptive major power but for very concrete or specializing issues their help always will be of being grateful. The images of the Tarot enclose a very big mystery and are inspired in all the events of the life, so much for the good thing as the bad thing, the positive thing and the negative thing.
