Well, ladies and gentlemen, the TEA conference (Teachers of English Association, that is, not Twinings, Tetley and PG Tips) is just around the corner, starting Wednesday 23rd January, and ending at lunchtime on the Saturday (Jan 26th). It takes place in Puerto de la Cruz, at the Hotel Semiramis. Check out the TEA web page at: http://nti.educa.rcanaria.es/tea/

Or contact us if you want us to help you locate the chaps in charge.

The publishers will all be there with their new wares, and some of the speakers include Mark Levy (Pearson), Robert Quinn (OUP), Rob Bexon and Sam Pickard (Burlington – hot favourites at the GRETA do in September), and from the islands Katie Mauner, Alejandro López de Vergara, José Alberto Luís Estévez, Annie Park, María Ángeles García Casanova………….. There is even a rumour that Mario Rinvolucri will be there (see our Guest Writer)! We’ll keep you informed as news come in on our hot-line.

The theme this year is Exploring Success, and success is exactly what we wish our TEA colleagues. Hope all goes well, and hope to see you there…….we’ll be the ones with carnations in our buttonholes, ahem J
